Beautifully Weird

A trendy song (I know)...but I am in love with it. It reminds me of Sting and his voice gives me the creeps at the same time! Weird.
The art in this videoclip is more than amazing. Love the colours and the imagination behind it. Love everything about this videoclip.
And .... I spent an entire night listening to this song...repeat, repeat, repeat....Communicating Skill soundtrack without any doubt :)

More from Andres Amador
It is just to good to be true! Amazing piece of art by Andres Amador. I think I can say I am completely obsessed with his work, shapes, geometries...
Intricately - Patterned Land Art That’s Washed Away by the Tides
"Andres Amador has only a few hours to work before the tide sets in. He must wait for a full moon when the waves have fully receded, giving him the space and time to execute his sand etchings. Using just a garden rake, Amador inscribes monumental doodles along the banks of beaches, giant compositions of overlapping lines and vaguely geometric figures which originate from tiny sketches he’s prepared in a notebook beforehand. The largest of his works span areas of 300 X 500 feet and larger, taking several hours and workers to complete; yet despite their size and the great effort dedicated to their realization, the tableaux won’t last through the day. As the shoreline becomes engulfed by the falling sea, they vanish just as fast as they had come."

Project from two German architects, Heike Mutter and Ulrich Genth in Germany.
'Tiger and Turtle', the name of the sculpture, reflex the contradiction between the high speed of roller coasters and the slow speed of people walking.

Lightning
Last year, because of all the crisis that Portugal is going thru the Lisbon council decided that to save money there wouldn't be Christmas Decorations in the streets. The council also gave a brief to some architects where a small prize could be won if they had a good idea to bring light into some of the most important squares.
A group of friends from my Uni in Lisbon decided to give to random people that privilege. People as illumination. People as Moving Christmas decoration.

Landscape Architects
Act Fast. Transform the city. There is no need for the City to take over Nature. Lets redesign cities and transform them into Sustainable Cities.
Landscape as... Passion
To talk about landscape as passion we have to regard the past and remember that the first time our ancestors talked about Landscape and “touched it”, they had to have an enormous passion throughout the all process. Passion, enthusiasm and a sense of emotion, chases everything in our life. Passion pursues the Landscape and the Landscape pursues Passion. Landscape as passion is in the men who first looked at it and felt good and full of life, in the designer that creates a space for him and for everybody and in the people who are “touched” by the amazing frame that is in front of their eyes. Landscape as passion is to make the Landscape canvas something in a bigger dimension of an inner drama, a strong desire and apprehension of the world, knowledge, even when it is disturbing or when it drives our souls to our instincts.
